Leadership in Education

Founder, Entrepreneur Mastermind Club (TPA)
I started the Entrepreneur Mastermind Club at my school because I wanted a space where students could share ideas, challenge each other, and explore what it means to build something from the ground up. To make it happen, I had to get permission from the administration, secure a sponsor teacher, reserve a room, and design a structure for the club. I created fliers to promote it, recruited students to sign up, drafted a syllabus, and reached out to guest speakers. After I left TPA, the club was adopted as a class.

Model United Nations (MMUN)
I’ve been part of Model UN since elementary school, and it has given me some of my most formative experiences. Twice I represented my school at the UN Headquarters in New York and onvce at MMUN in China. At one of these conferences, I was even selected to speak. MMUN experience required me to research my assigned country, generate ideas for resolutions, prepare and deliver speeches, and negotiate with other delegates to build consensus. It challenged me to think critically about global issues and strengthened my ability to communicate under pressure. I continued participating in Model UN at my school in Puerto Rico.

Academic Projects

Quantum Computing Experiments (Self-Initiated)
Curious about quantum physics after exploring concepts like the double-slit experiment, I figured out how to access IBM’s cloud-based quantum computer on my own. Using Python and Anaconda, I built and ran a quantum random number generator as well as a T1 Exponential Decay experiments. Eventually, IBM noticed my account activity and (politely) told me they’d have to kick me out. It was my first taste of exploring the cutting edge of science completely independently.

Electric Car Engineering
In an engineering workshop, I designed and built a small-scale electric car model from scratch. I experimented with different designs, wiring, and testing to optimize both speed and functionality. The project gave me firsthand experience with engineering principles and creative problem-solving.
