Hi, I’m Oltan.
I’ve grown up across four countries—Turkey, Ireland, Texas, and Puerto Rico—which has shaped me into someone who adapts quickly, embraces challenges, and thrives in diverse environments. I’m passionate about basketball, aerospace engineering, and leadership, and I hope to carry these passions forward at the university level.

ACADEMICS

GPA: 3.59 (with a 3.95 in the latest semester) - you can say I’m a bit of a late bloomer…

Advanced Coursework: AP Calculus BC, AP Physics C, Honors Spanish 3, Dual Enrollment in Business and Organizational Behavior, Analysis of Film & Literature, Contemporary Literature

Academic Interests: Aerospace engineering! With additional interests in business, entrepreneurship and art history.

Core Strengths: Self-discipline, leadership, and perseverance — I’m known for staying after practice, training during the off-season, maintaining peak nutrition and holding myself to elite standards on and off the court.

Entrepreneurship: Founder of Entrepreneur Mastermind Club (TPA), which later became an official class; Co-founder of OAC Clothing Brand, managing design, production, and sales.

Global Leadership: Selected speaker at Montessori Model United Nations (MMUN); represented school at UN HQ (New York, China).

Mentorship: Team captain and assistant coach for girls’ basketball at TPA.

Community Service: Volunteered at animal rescues (Luvin’ Paws PR, Animal Shelter TX), schools (Montessori & TPA), and nursing homes in Puerto Rico and Texas.
